Article Deletion Alert!

in Middle East

I was just informed that a rogue administrator has deleted three articles from Wikipedia that relate to Israel.  These are articles about recent terrorist attacks on Israel and Jordan that have been mentioned on this site in the past.

The usual anti-Israel crowd, and some others, have been involved in the quick deletion process:

It is easy to start a Wiki, but none has the reputation of Wikipedia. That is why it is important to ensure Wikipedia is accurate and fair.

I disagree. Problems like this could be easily fixed if there were more objective Wikipedia editors interested in editing Israel articles. The problem is that the Israel-haters dominate Middle East editing on Wikipedia

I concur with Wikipedian and JJ. Wikipedia is not only popular, it is viewed by most users as a reliable source. This is why it is important that it actually become a reliable source. And the only way that can happen is for objective and knowledgeable people to become editors. At present, Middle East editing is largely left to editors whose prejudices against Israel make Wikipedia extremely biased.
